Bony is a hair stylist.  He holds great interest in art since he was very young; and he draws and paints whenever he can.  During the process of painting and styling, he finds the distinction between the two.  The finding motivates him to explore the essence of art itself and further create the unique characters and style.

In Ling’s works, many girl figures are shown.  Those girls are in their ordinary states and living in their own little worlds.  They might be the children in need of Bony’s care, or they might be the girls he once loved, or they might be his imaginary lovers, or they might just be the metaphor of the artist’s ego.  Despite all these, Bony nurtures the girls like his own creation and with full of emotions.

Artist dedicates all his life accompanies the girls’ every seconds of every minute.  Her pondering, her playfulness, her shyness are all portraits in details by the artist.  It is the dedications and emotions which creates these lovely characters, and at the same time reflects Bony’s gentleness and love.
