The exhibition “To the Moon: Liu Kuo-Sun” exhibits 64 paintings from the contemporary ink master Liu Kuo-Sung. The exhibition is divided into several sections by theme , such kuangcao abstraction, Space, Marbling, ink smudge, Tibetan composition series, etc. .; the paintings dated back from 1964 to the present and spaned over half a century. It is not only a subtle reproduction of the artist's personal creative process, but also one of the historical retrospective events of the development of modern art.

With the artist's curiosity, Liu Kuo-Sung faced the elements of traditional ink painting, using experimental and innovative techniques when expressing ink art, thus giving the work a sense of time and contemporariness. Kaohsiung Art Museum gathers all the resources to study Liu's artistic creation for more than half a century. In addition, "Snow Mountain" borrowed from the Harvard Art Museum, together with a lot of documenta on display which weren’t exhibited before.
